ResortQuest Hawaii has launched a new program, EduVacations, that encourages travel agents to keep up-to-date on what’s new and what each participating property has to offer clients. Special travel agent-only prices are based on the property’s Palm Rating, from two palm trees indicating moderate accommodations to five palm trees for luxury accommodations. Rates for travel agents start at $79 for a two- palm rating, $89 for three palms and $99 for four to five-palms.
Eight Oahu properties are participating, with six on Maui, six on Kauai and three on Hawaii's Big Island.
“Travel agents are one of our most valuable assets,” said ResortQuest Hawaii president Kelvin Bloom. “We encourage agents to stay and play with us; it’s the best way to learn more about our hotels and condominium resorts and to share the experience with their clients.”
The special travel agent rates are valid through Dec. 23, 2009, with blackout dates, and carry a three-night maximum. Travel agents must occupy the room to qualify for the discount and proof of travel agency affiliation is required upon check-in.
