Various San Diego hotels throughout the city recently announced new hotel packages for the fall. These fall savings were designed with a wide variety of clients in mind, from those interested in getting a head start on holiday shopping, to clients who would rather leisurely ring in the New Year and many in between.
Through Dec. 31, downtown San Diego’s deluxe US Grant Hotel is offering the Bloomingdale’s Holiday Shopping package. It includes two nights of accommodations; daily breakfast for two at the Grant Grill; a $100 Bloomingdale’s gift card plus a 10 percent shopping discount valid only for purchases made in conjunction to the gift card at the Bloomingdale’s Fashion Valley location; a consultation with a Bloomingdale’s personal stylist; and an after-shopping specialty cocktail and appetizer at the Grant Grill. Rates start at $500, plus tax. Blackout dates apply.
San Diego’s Grand Del Mar resort is appealing to clients who are more inclined to sit back, relax and bring in the New Year from the comfort of their own hotel room. On Dec. 31, its Grande Finale package allows visitors to unwind and save with accommodations including sparkling wine and snacks upon arrival; a seven-course New Year’s Eve dinner for two complete with wine pairings at the award-winning Addison restaurant; admission to the resort’s Grand New Year’s Eve Party, featuring Wayne Foster Entertainment; breakfast-in-bed for two; and complimentary overnight valet parking. Rates for the Grand Finale package begin at $995, plus tax and gratuity.
Additional hotels offering fall packages and savings include the Pechanga Resort & Casino; The Westin Gaslamp Quarter; The Westin San Diego; Hotel del Coronado; the Rancho Bernardo Inn; and the Holiday Inn San Diego Bayside.
