El Dorado Hotel & Spa in Santa Fe, N.M., is celebrating its upcoming 25th anniversary by introducing savings and discounted rates on special interest packages which, for many guests, happen to combine the best of both worlds: chocolate and spa treatments.
The hotel’s Chile ‘N’ Chocolate package introduces visitors to the flavors of the Southwest’s chocolate capital. Accommodations include a welcome gift of chocolate chile truffles at check-in; Mexican hot chocolate delivered to your room; breakfast-in-bed or in the Old House restaurant; a private pedicab tour of four local chocolatiers and the option of adding an 80-minute chocolate mole wrap from the Nidah Spa for an additional $150. Rates begin at $229 per night.
For clients who would rather wear their food instead of eat it, the Spa Specials package at Nidah Spa allows just that. Season-specific spa treatments such as organic facials with pumpkin-orange masks or cranberry/peppermint manicure/pedicures summarize Nidah Spa’s practice of using ingredients gathered daily from plants.
An additional travel perk, valid through Apr. 3, 2011, is a third night free for guests who purchase a two-night stay. Advance reservations are required and rates are per room, per night and based on availability.
