Throughout the next six months Seattle Center will celebrate its 50th anniversary, including the legacy of the 1962 World’s Fair, and look ahead to the upcoming five decades.
Dubbed the Next Fifty, the celebration is honoring the past, celebrating the present and inspiring citizens to look ahead towards a shared future.
Through Oct. 21, 2012, the Next Fifty offers visitors the opportunity to experience national and international art, music, cultural displays, history and heritage exhibits.
Each of the six months focuses on a key area of regional
leadership and development, including:

* Science and Technology, June
* Global Health, July
* Learning, August
* Commerce and the Innovation Economy, September
* Civic Action, October
