With the recent release of numerous top travel industry lists, Sedona, Ariz., has been winning praise for its offerings and accommodations.
Sedona's recently recognized accommodations include Enchantment Resort and L'Auberge de Sedona, which have both earned spots on the Travel + Leisure 500 World's Best Hotels 2013 list. In addition, the two properties were also awarded by Conde Nast Traveler, which included both hotels on the Gold List 2013: World's Best Places to Stay.
In terms of destination recognition, Lonely Planet has named the Verde Valley among its Top 10 U.S. Travel Destinations for 2013.
"The 714 acre region is beautiful, with green canyons, rimmed by red rocks, and towns like Cottonwood, Jerome, and Sedona that have long drawn visitors for good food, art and mining lore," said Robert Reid, the U.S. travel editor for Lonely Planet.
