This year’s Sedona Plein Air Festival, taking place Oct. 23-30 in Sedona, Ariz., will feature 32 award-winning artists who will visit the region and paint its inspiring red rock landscapes on location or en plein air.
The festival begins on Main Street and features free lectures, music, demonstrations, painting classes, a day in Jerome, Ariz., the Quick Draw Event, an opening reception, as well as keynote speaker, Stuart Shils.
On Oct. 29, a gala event offers guests the opportunity to have a private viewing, wine with the artists and to purchase paintings completed during the festival.
The festival closes with a free public art exhibit and an art sale at the Sedona Arts Center Galleries.
