The all new L’Auberge Del Mar, managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts, will debut the final phase of its comprehensive renovation this March as the new spa facility opens its doors to welcome guests seeking signature treatments at the seaside resort. Designed by architect Cary Collier of Blu Spas Inc., the all new 5,000 square foot free-standing facility will serve as an oasis for guests and locals seeking a pampered rejuvenation with welcoming spa therapists and soothing treatment suites.
Under the direction of 11-year L’Auberge veteran Spa Director Jeannette Handson, Spa L’Auberge has designed a menu that is sure to please in the serene coastal setting. Utilizing a unique collection of organic and vegan product lines, as well as exotic plant extracts from around the world, the tranquil treatments will distinguish Spa L’Auberge as a restful retreat. Ten cozy treatment rooms, multiple indoor and outdoor relaxation areas, aromatic steam rooms, and locker and rejuvenation facilities greet guests seeking the spa’s unique range of classic and signature services, including massages, body wraps, facial treatments, manicures, and pedicures.
At the forefront of spa trends, the all new Spa L’Auberge provides guests with top notch service in a secluded setting using eco-friendly products that include 95+ percent organic ingredients. To ensure that day-spa visitors enjoy an intimate experience, Spa L’Auberge will feature a reserved side street entrance for private access. In addition, a cozy couple’s treatment suite features a secluded garden, day bed and soaking tub for half day spa experiences. The new free standing facility, opening early March 2009, will perpetuate the luxury private coastal estate ambience of L’Auberge Del Mar following the $26 million renovation that began in November of 2007.
