“Visitors to Alaska want to experience Denali National Park in an up close and personal way,” said Carol Fraser, director of sales and marketing for Aramark Alaska. “To avoid the disappointment of arriving only to learn that the tours are sold out, now is a great time to reserve space on any of our three guided day tours.”
Of the available tours, the 12-hour Kantishna Experience Tour with an NPS ranger brings clients to the historic cabin of Fannie Quigley, Wonder Lake and the mining district of Kantishna. Clients can be picked up from several hotels, and rates are $165 per adult and $77.50 for children age 14 and under.
The Tundra Wilderness Tour is a 53-mile excursion through the picturesque scenery of Denali National park, affording views of Mount McKinley on clear days. A box lunch is included in the price, which is $113 per adult and $51.50 for children under the age of 14.
The Denali Natural History Tour visits the Wilderness Access Center, a ranger cabin at Savage River, and more, with a focus on the cultural history of the Denali region. Adult tickets are $70.75 per person, while tickets for children age 14 and under are $30.50 each.
The price for each tour includes a $10 national park entrance fee.
