The third annual Sun Valley Nordic Festival will offer nine days of events that showcase Sun Valley's reputation as "Nordic Town USA." From Jan. 28 through Feb. 5, guests will be able to partake in Nordic skiing, demonstrations, races, seminars and activities that culminate with the Boulder Mountain Tour.
The festival promises many events during the week, including Thursday's Downtown Jam and Sprints, held in downtown Ketchum. Olympic-caliber sprints and kids' races, as well as music, on-site artwork and a bonfire are all part of the fun.
During the week, many accommodations, including The Knob Hill Inn and Sun Valley Resort, will be offering discounts on packages. Rates at The Knob Hill begin at $195 for a king room, while The Sun Valley Lodge is offering accommodations starting at $149.
