The 2013 New Mexico Vacation Guide - available free of charge at various visitors centers and tourism destinations - comprises 154 pages of places to see, things to do and people to meet, as well as the essential information for visiting the state.
New Mexico Magazine, a division of the Tourism Department, produced the guide, which is now being distributed throughout New Mexico via visitor information centers, convention and visitors bureaus, chambers of commerce and other locations. Approximately 150,000 copies will be inserted into major newspapers in Phoenix, Denver, Amarillo and El Paso on Sunday, Jan. 13.
"The New Mexico Magazine team has done an excellent job in packaging the information for the New Mexico 2013 Vacation Guide in a way that makes it an inspiring, attractive and easy-to-use reference guide for travelers throughout the year," said Dave Herndon, editor in chief of New Mexico Magazine. "We're proud of the state, and we're proud of the guide."
The guide is also available as a free app in the iTunes Store for iPad and iPhone. Requests for single printed copies may be made online.
