Ah, Las Vegas. From gaming and shows to dining and partying, one
often needs a vacation after returning from a vacation here. We are
all far too familiar these days with the much used “What happens in
Vegas & ” phrase, and with more bachelors and bachelorettes
deciding to bid adieu to single life with a last fling in the
desert, we’re here with a guide for throwing the ultimate send-off
for your client’s soon-to-be-married friend.

shift toward the younger party public are the Hard Rock Hotel and
Palms Casino Resort, although now the newly renovated Planet

during the daylight hours. Resort pool parties have turned up the
heat, transforming lazy lounging into a sizzling scene more

The ladies may want to indulge with a glass of champagne and a
bridal treatment at the Aquae Sulis Spa at the JW Marriott, or pay
a visit to Canyon Ranch SpaClub at the Venetian for some serious
pampering. Spas such as Aquae Sulis also cater treatments
specifically to men and the Red Rock Adventure Spa offers horseback
riding, rock climbing or rafting trips for outdoorsy types. Las
Vegas also has over 30 championship golf courses.
Clients with an adventurous spirit may want to explore the
Valley of Fire, Red Rock National Conservation Area, Lake Mead or
Mount Charleston where ample hiking, biking, watersports and
rock-climbing opportunities abound, or they can book a trip with
operators such as the Grand Canyon Tour Company for an aerial view
of the canyon or to buzz the Strip at night when the neon glows
bright.

the long wait at popular nightclubs, whisking them beyond the

For those navigating the city on their own it’s always best to

intact and the party rolling along.
The dining options are seemingly endless, but N9NE Steakhouse at
the Palms has a bachelor menu ($179 per person) for groups of 12 or
more that includes all-access VIP passes to the resort’s coolest
clubs: Playboy, Moon, Rain and Ghostbar. Other popular nightclubs
include LAX, Jet, Tryst, Prive and Tao where “Grey’s Anatomy” star
Kate Walsh held part of her bachelorette festivities.
But what’s a bachelor/bachelorette party without a little risque
fun? For the guys that may mean a trip to a gentlemen’s club such
as Sapphire’s, Scores or Olympic Garden, while the ladies always
have Chippendales and Thunder Down Under.
Don’t forget about some of the Strip’s larger production shows.
Cirque du Soleil now has five shows in town and for Beatles fans
“Love” is a must see, while “Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular”
