The Promenade Music Festival will take over downtown Boise, Idaho, for an affordable three-day festival of music. Headliners will include West Palm Beach, Florida’s Surfer Blood — who music-aficionado website, Pitchfork, has compared to the likes of Brian Wilson and Weezer — and the critically acclaimed indie-pop four-piece, The Drums, from Brooklyn, New York. From Oct. 7-9, as many as 100 bands will perform at various venues throughout downtown including the Knitting Factory Concert House, the Egyptian Theatre, Bittercreek/Red Feather and the Visual Arts Collective.
Also on the bill are Frog Eyes from British Colombia, K-OS from Ontario and California bands, The Janks and The Downing Men.
Prices are $15 for a one-day wristband and $30 for a three-day wristband. Wristbands give access to all venues for the festival, subject to capacity and age requirements, and can be purchased through TicketFly.com.
