Tropicana Las Vegas Renovation Progressing

The first phase of the Tropicana Las Vegas Hotel Resort & Casino’s ambitious $180 million transformation is well under way and scheduled for completion this May.

With several changes and amenities complete and other elements evolving on a daily basis, the comprehensive transformation includes a redesigned facade, all-new hotel rooms and luxurious suites, new restaurants and retail spaces, a new spa and an upgraded fitness center, as well as the upcoming launch of the world’s largest Nikki Beach, the internationally renowned beach club and nightclub brand. Along with these new features is the Trop Plus Players Club, a new live and mobile racing/sports wagering technology, and exciting new entertainment, including the Las Vegas Mob Experience.

This transformation will revitalize our brand while bringing the best of South Beach to the heart of Las Vegas.”

New rooms and suites are now complete and have been infused with warm tones that evoke the casual elegance of a beach getaway, with bright natural light and organic materials. Already open is the new Cafe Nikki, part of the forthcoming Nikki Beach, which is set in a lush garden overlooking waterfalls with a sprawling outdoor deck. Coming soon is the South Beach Marketplace, which will provide an array of casual food and drink shops, including Starbucks and Pellegrino Pizza, as well as Asian noodles and self-serve frozen yogurt and gelato.

While significantly upgrading its fitness center, Tropicana is developing a new spa, located by the conference center with windows that overlook the pool area. The spa area is scheduled to open this summer with approximately 9,500 square feet and featuring a beauty salon, retail space, a relaxation lounge, locker rooms, a steam shower and treatment rooms.
