The results for this year’s annual Ski magazine reader survey were recently released, and Powder Mountain Resort in Ogden, Utah, topped the list. The resort received high marks in several categories and was ranked as one of the top resorts in North America and the top pick for value.
Powder Mountain is hardly a newcomer to Ski magazine’s prestigious list. For five out of the past six years, the resort has been ranked as the number one Best Value resort. Additionally, Powder Mountain took second place for Snow, fourth place for Character and ninth place for Overall Satisfaction. This is the first year Powder Mountain has appeared on the overall list, which the resort feels is significant for the 2013 ski season and beyond.
“The Ski magazine category rankings that Pow Mow is recognized for are a true representation of the experience that is provided to our guests,” said Patrick Lundin of Powder Mountain Resort. “Pow Mow is paradise, and the rankings showcase some of our best qualities.”
The annual list leverages thousands of reader surveys to assign the rankings to roughly 400 eligible resorts in North America. The magazine is available on stands nationwide.
