Now that Virgin Hotels Chicago is open for business, Sir Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group, and his team are gearing up for a second offering — this time in Nashville.
Set to open in fall of 2016, Virgin Hotels Nashville will be located at One Music Row (southwest of downtown Nashville). It will host the Common Club bar and live entertainment venue, a recording studio designed by Michael Cronin and a 14,000-square-foot meeting space available for events. It will also include 240 Chambers and Grand Chamber Suites and 15 penthouse residential units, along with dining options and a wellness center.
Design plans feature a bright and airy aesthetic with a connecting skywalk from the residential units to the hotel as well as a rooftop deck and pool.
“With Virgin Hotels Chicago now open and bustling, we’re thrilled to reveal our plans for our next property, Virgin Hotels Nashville,” said Raul Leal, CEO of Virgin Hotels. “Partnering with Blur Workshop and interior design firm, MarkZeff, has enabled us to incorporate our musical heritage and playful tone of voice into this new building, bringing something entirely different to the Nashville hotel scene.”
