The region of Montana, which surrounds the Glacier National Park and reaches into Canada has been dubbed “The Crown of the Continent.”
National Geographic Traveler Geotourism editor, Jonathan Tourtellot, describes the area as “one of the most intact natural ecosystems in the temperate zones of the world, a place of plunging valleys, the headwaters for the continent, ancient cedar forests, native prairie and diverse wildlife.”
Clients are welcome to visit Glacier National Park or explore the Glacier County area, which consists of foot trails and scenic views. Notably, the Bigfork Festival of the Arts will be featured for the summer 2011 season, as well as the Libby Logger Days, a celebration of the long time heritage of logging in the region. Montana’s prairies can be reached by train and offer a variety of historic lodgings for guests to stay at.
