Rocky Mountaineer Railtours is rolling out its Fall Savings program just in time for visitors to experience Canada’s changing seasons.

Two-day, daylight journeys aboard the Rocky Mountaineer include breakfast, lunch and overnight accommodations, priced from $349 per person, double.

The eight-night, nine-day Canadian Rockies Getaway package includes four-day service aboard the Rocky Mountaineer, breakfasts, lunches, eight nights of accommodations, a Banff tour, a tour of Icefields Parkway, a tour of Jasper and rail station transfers in Vancouver, Kamloops, Banff and Jasper. The special fall savings rate in October is $1,399 per person, double.

This winter, guests of the boutique hotel Listel Vancouver can enjoy a night of dinner and jazz with the All That Jazz package. The offer includes an overnight stay for two in a deluxe Gallery Floor room, where original and limited edition artwork is displayed. Rooms feature window seats and goose down duvets. Also included is a $48 credit for dinner and jazz at O’Doul’s Restaurant & Bar, morning French-press coffee and newspaper delivered to the room, daily breakfast for two at O’Doul’s and valet parking.

The cost of the package is $148 for a standard gallery room and $212 for a one-bedroom suite. The package is offered from Oct. 1 to May 31, 2003.

For boutique hotel lovers, the Metropolitan Hotel is offering two packages. Cartier at the Met provides guests with complimentary limo service to French jeweler Cartier. The package provides one night of accommodations, a sterling silver monogrammed key chain, champagne, chocolate-dipped strawberries and valet parking.

During the low season (October through April), rates start at $255 for deluxe rooms; during high season (through September), rates start at $303 per room, double.

When guests show their Washington drivers licenses upon check-in, they can take advantage of the Washington at the Met package. It includes one night’s stay, a complimentary in-room movie, late checkout at 3 p.m., boxed lunches for two for the ride home and valet parking.
