Through Aug. 25, Wolf Creek, Utah, is hosting a family-friendly concert series at Wolf Mountain called Music in the Mountains. Concerts offer everything from country music to classical symphonies and are held mountainside on designated Saturdays at 8 p.m. (gates open at 6 p.m.).
“Each year, with Music in the Mountains, we are privileged to participate in something that surpasses all expectations,” said Sue Munson, Wolf Creek, Utah’s director of guest services. “It’s not that often that you witness children, teenagers, parents and grandparents all dancing together and having the time of their lives. We’ve even seen conga lines up the hillside.”
The lineup includes:
• July 28: Anna Wilson and the Crescent Super Band — American songbook
• Aug. 11: Jon Schmidt – classical new age
• Aug. 25: Korene Greenwood — blues/rock
Each concert costs $20 per carload. The concert series raises funds to host retreats for deploying Hill Air Force Base airmen and their families.
