The Clear Creek Group in Jackson Hole, Wyo., has launched a new four-night package for spring and early summer that focuses on Greater Yellowstone’s predators. The Wolf and Bear Expedition pairs travelers with a Wildlife Expeditions biologist for three days of exploration in Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park’s Hayden and Lamar Valleys.
Expedition guests will spend two nights in the Yellowstone town of Cooke City, Mont., to visit the Lamar and Hayden Valleys, where bears hunt in the same areas where wolves den. Participants will travel to the best sites for viewing these predators, as well as visit Old Faithful, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and the terraces of Mammoth Hot Springs.
The trip will be bookended with a choice of accommodations at either a Shooting Star Cabin in Teton Village, Wyo., or the Pearl at Jackson in downtown Jackson, Wyo., both of which are properties in The Clear Creek Group portfolio. Travelers are welcome to extend their stay in order to enjoy other experiences in Jackson Hole.
