On Sept. 9, Apple Leisure Group (ALG)’s Apple Vacations unveiled the winners of its Crystal Apple Awards during the annual Golden Apple Gala. The event, which took place at Theatre on the Lake in Chicago, brought together top travel advisors, trade media, hotel owners, ALG executives and more.
A Hotel Forecast Panel took place the following morning at Fairmont Chicago – Millennium Park, where attendees learned about trends in the all-inclusive space, ALG news and more. It was followed by the Ascend tradeshow, which drew more than 950 travel agents to 110 booths at Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.
