On Oct. 4, Princess Cruises invited media, travel advisors and more onboard Royal Princess — docked at Los Angeles’ World Cruise Terminal — for a lunch reception and news briefing to announce the name of Princess’ newest ship, along with its inaugural itineraries.
Jan Swartz, president of Princess Cruises, revealed the name of the line’s latest vessel — Discovery Princess — which will set sail in November 2021. It represents the sixth and final vessel in Princess’ Royal Class. The 3,660-guest ship will sail a variety of itineraries to the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, the Mexican Riviera, South America and more.
