On March 3, TravelAge West hosted its first Editorial Advisory Board meeting of 2023, coming together virtually with travel advisors and supplier members (representing cruise lines, tour operators, destinations, river cruise companies, host agencies and more) to gather intel for the year ahead. The board is designed to offer insight on the trends, opportunities and issues that travel professionals are seeing in their businesses and the industry at large.
Topics discussed during the meeting include the advisor-supplier relationship, the influx of new-to-the-industry agents, advisor training and mentorship, the growth of wellness travel, the ongoing challenge of burnout and more.
