Between January and April 2020, Alaska Airlines will introduce eight new nonstop routes linking key cities on the U.S. West Coast, including those in the Pacific Northwest, Alaska and California. Tickets are on sale now.

Currently, Alaska Airlines offers nearly 600 daily flights between West Coast cities. The choice to expand service in this region reaffirms the airline’s commitment to this key market and will give both leisure and business clients increased options during the travel-planning process.

- Beginning in January, eight new routes will include Spokane, Wash. to Los Angeles and San Francisco (twice daily); Redmond/Bend, Ore. To LA, San Diego and San Francisco; Boise, Idaho to LA (twice daily); Missoula, Mont. to LA; and Anchorage to San Francisco.
- Additionally, the airline will be increasing the frequency of flights in certain markets.
- Most new routes will be served by the Embraer 175 jet, which has no middle seat.
- Alaska has renovated its lounges in Anchorage, Los Angeles and Seattle; a new lounge will open in San Francisco in 2020.
