The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay is offering an elevated offering for guests (literally). When clients book a stay at the Northern California property, they’ll also have the opportunity to become students of the hotel’s new “Drone Academy,” which was created in partnership with Lumoid, a San Francisco-based gadget rental company. The experience includes both a pre-flight informational class and a hands-on drone flight and aerial photography session that uses DJI Phantom 4, DJI Mavic Pro and DJI Phantom 4 Pro drones to capture a bird’s-eye view of the California coast. In addition to a memory card and card reader to take home, travelers will also receive complimentary digital delivery of their photo and video footage within 10 days of their hotel stay. The experience begins at $300 per person.
