Curacao welcomed 50,123 stayover visitors in June 2024, marking a 13% increase compared to June 2023. This figure represents a significant jump from the historical average of 30,000 arrivals typically seen in May and June.

The Netherlands led the visitor count with 15,424 tourists, a 12% increase from the previous year, with 52% choosing non-resort accommodations and an average stay of 11.3 nights. The United States followed with 14,913 visitors, up 14% from June 2023, with 70% opting for resort hotels and staying an average of six nights.

Colombia showed the highest percentage increase at 43%, with 5,290 visitors, half of whom stayed in resort hotels for an average of 5.6 nights. Year-to-date figures for 2024 reveal 346,774 stayover arrivals in the first six months, representing a 27% growth compared to the same period last year.

The Curacao Tourist Board projects the possibility of reaching 700,000 stayover arrivals by year-end.
