MSC Upgrades Travel Agent Website

Jan 09, 2014

MSC Cruises launched its upgraded agent website in December, and travel professionals can expect new, user-friendly features that make accessing recent news, product information and promotional/marketing tools easier and faster.

Powered by Sitefinity CMS, the website now has a cleaner and more modern layout and is simple to navigate. Agents will find promotional and marketing materials such as product information cards, html emails, e-cards, e-brochures, flyers, web banners in the prominent tool kit section. Another essential feature is the new social media section, where agents can share promotions and news with their social networks with one click. Here, travel agents will find suggested Twitter copy and promotional images in the appropriate dimension and format.

“The newly designed travel agent website is an integral part of our MSC True Partnerships program and our continuous commitment to helping our partners serve their customers,” said Ken Muskat, senior vice president of sales and marketing for MSC USA. “In recent months, we have launched a slew of new initiatives specially created for travel professionals, including our annual True Partnerships Awards, dedicated Travel Agent Facebook page, MSC True Partners Video Series and a three-month long Cruise-A-Day Giveaway. We look forward to continuously strengthening and growing our travel agent partnerships.”

In addition to launching its first year-round ship from North America, MSC Divina, the company has announced a $273-million program that will involve all four of its Lirica class ships over the next two years, with new entertainment options, technological advancements, expanded shopping options and up to nearly 200 new cabins per ship.
