NCL America took the unusual step of issuing a statement
apologizing for “start-up challenges” on its Hawaii cruises on the
U.S.-flagged Pride of Aloha.
“The company is taking aggressive actions to ensure quality
levels quickly reach the high levels the company is known for,” the
statement said.
NCL America said it would refund 50 percent of the service
charge for all past cruisers, as well as issue credit certificates
for future cruises. Agents will receive a $50 fee, in addition to
commission, when they rebook those clients on Pride of America or
Pride of Aloha cruises at discounted rates.
