Silver Discoverer, formerly Clipper Odyssey, sailed into the Pacific from Singapore in March, underlining Silversea Cruises’ commitment to luxury expedition cruising that began with Silver Explorer and Silver Galapagos.
Fresh from extensive renovations, the 128-passenger Discovery has ocean-view suites with bars, refrigerators, flat-screen televisions and balconies, along with a fitness room, pool, massage rooms and a beauty salon. For exploring the Pacific waters and reefs, there is a fleet of Zodiacs onboard and a glass-bottom boat, in addition to snorkeling equipment and a dive program.
Itineraries include the Russian Far East, Polynesia, Melanesia, Micronesia, Southeast Asia, New Zealand and Australia, with enrichment drawing on Silversea’s partnership with the Royal Geographical Society.
