Royal Caribbean Group, parent to Royal Caribbean International, has announced that it has ordered a seventh new Oasis-Class cruise ship from the French shipyard Chantiers de l’Atlantique for delivery in 2028. The vessel, which has not yet been named, will follow behind the sixth ship in the Oasis series — Utopia of the Seas — scheduled to arrive later this year.
“While we eagerly anticipate the debut of Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas this summer, we’re already dreaming up her sister ship and the next installation in the brand’s extremely popular Oasis Class,” said Jason Liberty, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group. “Across our three brands, we are focused on continuously challenging ourselves to deliver the ultimate vacation experience.”
At a corporate level, this new order follows the recent delivery of Silver Nova from Silversea, Celebrity Ascent from Celebrity Cruises and Icon of the Seas from Royal Caribbean International.

The next Oasis ship will continue the class’ well-known neighborhood concept; split-superstructure design; entertainment “across air, ice, water and stage,” according to the company; and other innovations.
