Adding to the growing list of upcoming new private destinations from cruise lines is Royal Caribbean International’s  announcement of the upcoming Royal Beach Club Cozumel. The next destination in the brand’s Royal Beach Club Collection will open in Mexico in 2026.

“We are delighted to build on our longstanding partnership with the local community and government to continue bringing our guests to Mexico,” said Jason Liberty, president and CEO of parent company Royal Caribbean Group. “The expansion of our destination offerings aligns with the growing global demand for the ultimate vacation experience and enables our guests to connect with the beauty of local cultures and people in the places they visit.”

Among the features clients can expect are, of course, beaches and scenic views, but also pools for families and relaxation, swim-up bars, private cabanas and a street market, plus multiple dining options including a panoramic restaurant, bar and lounge. Available activities will further extend to tequila tastings, cooking classes, snorkeling, kayaking and more.

“The anticipation for what’s next when it comes to Royal Caribbean destinations has only continued to build since we revealed Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in the Bahamas, which opens in 2025,” said Michael Bayley, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean International. “Now is the perfect time to announce the next iteration of this collection with Royal Beach Club Cozumel.”

Royal Beach Club Cozumel will join the line’s already successful Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas — which was renovated in 2019 to the tune of $250 million and further updated with the adults-only Hideaway Beach — as well as the upcoming Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, a 17-acre Bahamian experience on Nassau’s Paradise Island that is set to welcome guests in 2025.
