Four Seasons Hotels has started taking reservations for its newest Hawaii property, slated to open on Oahu in June 2016.

The 17-story beachfront hotel, Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina, is located 25 miles outside of Waikiki on the island’s leeward coast. It is the chain’s first property on Oahu and fifth in Hawaii. Four Seasons also operates one resort on Hawaii Island, one on Maui and two on Lanai.

Travel agents can pitch the new hotel to a range of travelers, including active families, couples, adventurers, water buffs and groups, says Nelson Hilton, senior director of sales and marketing at Four Seasons Resort Oahu.

“We are developing curated, bespoke programs that capture a new side of Oahu,” Hilton said. “The resort's expansive layout, combined with an abundance of offerings that are tailored to niche experiences, allow for a truly unforgettable visit.”

Previously the JW Marriott Ihilani Ko Olina Resort & Spa, the renovated hotel has 358 rooms and suites that come with private lanais, and 85 percent of them provide ocean views. The Hawaiian-style decor features local wood and banana-leaf wall coverings. Amenities include customizable beds (guests may choose from different mattress toppers), intuitive lighting, HD flat-screen televisions and marble bathrooms with two sinks, a deep soaking tub and a walk-in shower.

Capitalizing on the sunny weather of its west Oahu location, the new Four Seasons boasts two pools for families, one for adults only and an outdoor lap pool. Along with the white sands fronting the property, guests have access to three Ko Olina Resort beaches within a 10-minute walk of the hotel.

For dining, the hotel presents an oceanview seafood restaurant, casual pan-Asian eatery, chic Italian dining room and poolside bar and grill. A cocktail lounge off the lobby doubles as a morning coffee bar.

For health-oriented clients, the new Four Seasons’ expansive spa offers indoor and outdoor treatment rooms and hydrotherapy options. Wellness seekers also have access to a 10,000-square-foot health club, a tennis center and Ko Olina Golf Club.

For groups and meetings, Four Seasons Resort Oahu offers 16,874 square feet of event space and a historically inspired Hawaiian wedding chapel.

As an introductory offer, the hotel is listing a Fourth Night Free package, with an average rate beginning at $447 per night. Regular rates start at $595.

“Travel agents can have the same confidence and enthusiasm when sending loyal clients to Four Seasons Resort Oahu as they do with any of our sister properties globally,” Hilton said. “The brand consistency, service and exceptional experiences will all be met on Oahu, coupled with an authentic sense of place to distinguish it from the rest.”
