There are golf courses and then there are premier golf resorts, celebrated not just for their fairways but for their lodging, service and food and beverage offerings. Golf Magazine recently unveiled its 2014-2015 selection of premier golf resorts, including three noteworthy properties on Kauai.
Topping the list is the north shore’s St. Regis Princeville Resort, home of the Princeville Makai and Prince courses. Also earning nods were Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa, flanked by the Poipu Bay Golf Course; and Kauai Marriott Resort on Kalapaki Beach, home of Kauai Lagoons Golf Club.
