Nov. 21-Dec. 21: The Vans Triple Crown of Surfing. Hawaii’s famous swells are featured in what the surfing world recognizes to be the sport’s premier series of professional surfing events for men and women. Clients are invited to witness history in the making as more than 100 of the world’s best surfers compete for prize money and the crown on Oahu’s North Shore.

Nov. 5-14: 41st Annual Kona Coffee Cultural Festival. This festival, designed to promote and sustain coffee through agricultural tourism, features a Kona coffee picking contest, tastings, art exhibitions, entertainment, a recipe contest and a cupping competition. Kailua-Kona, Keauhou.

Nov. 6-13: 5th Annual Kahumoku Ohana Hawaiian Music and Lifestyles Workshop: Learn more about Hawaiian culture and the instruments responsible for the island’s recognizable sound during this week-long workshop held by five-time Grammy award winner and resident Keoki Kahumoku.

Nov. 28: Hawaii’s Cowboy Music – Slack-Key Guitar and Ukulele Concert. This concert features Hawaiian slack-key guitar and ukulele performances. From 3 - 5 p.m., the concert costs $20 per person ($15 for juniors and seniors). Hanalei Community Center.

Nov. 5: Wailuku First Friday. Wailuku Town’s monthly street party boasts  sidewalk bands, specials at local restaurants, artisans, poetry slams and more. The street closes to local traffic from 6-8 p.m. for this free event.
