As ziplining soars in popularity, Koloa Zipline has introduced the first nighttime zipline excursion on Kauai. The new high-flying adventure begins with four runs as day gives way to evening, delighting clients with stellar views of south shore sunsets. The final four runs take place in the dark, under the moon and stars, and include a ride on the longest zipline on the island, measuring 2,500 feet in distance. Offered daily and commissionable to travel agents, the four-hour tour costs $159 per person through March 15 and $169 thereafter. Participants receive juice, water, headlamps and flashlights. Guests should check in at 4:30 p.m. for the 5 p.m. outing.
