Travaasa Hana’s newest guest activity harks back to one of Hawaii’s oldest pastimes: outrigger paddling. Visitors can connect to the nature and culture of rural eastern Maui during the 1.5-hour guided tour in a custom-made canoe. Designed for two guests per trip, the intimate experience includes a lesson in the basics of paddling and its significance in local history and lifestyle. The tour costs $75 per person.
