Golf lovers can purchase their tickets now for the upcoming Sony Open in Hawaii, the first full-field PGA Tour event of the year. Spanning Jan. 12-18, the event draws appreciative crowds to the fabled greens of Waialae Country Club in Honolulu. The tournament will feature 144 of the world’s finest players vying for a piece of the $5.6 million purse. The Golf Channel broadcasts the action live, but there’s nothing like standing on the sidelines and watching firsthand. Last year’s champion, Jimmy Walker, plans to return to Honolulu to defend his title. Daily tickets are $15 per person when purchased in advance online and $20 at the gate.
