Ask Pleasant Holidays president Jack Richards about Hawaii summer vacations and he rhapsodizes over the joys of the islands from June through August.

“Summer is the traditional family vacation season,” said Richards. “It’s the ideal time to gather everyone from across the country and across the generations for a memorable family vacation they’ll talk about for years to come.”

“Hawaii is also the perfect destination for a June honeymoon vacation or a destination wedding,” he added, “offering some of the most romantic settings in the U.S.”

Many air carriers increase service to the islands in the summer, making it more convenient than ever for travelers to reach their favorite destination, Richards said.

When it comes to summer weather, Hawaii holds yet another trump card.

“While Hawaii’s weather is ideal year-round, the same can’t be said for much of the continental U.S., making the mild temperatures and gentle island breezes even more welcome compared to the often stifling summer heat and humidity back home,” said Richards.

Pleasant is just one of the many wholesalers that are encouraging travel this summer by offering value-added promotions on all the major islands. Following is a sampling of current ways to turn Hawaii summer vacation dreams into an affordable reality.
