Hilton Worldwide has shown its faith in the prosperity of the Mexican state of Queretaro with the opening of Hilton Garden Inn hotel and its newly signed deal to build a Home2 Suites by Hilton.
“The opening of Hilton Garden Inn Queretaro serves as an example of how our portfolio of brands is welcoming both business and leisure travelers to new and emerging destinations,” said Danny Hughes, senior vice president, Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America, Hilton Worldwide. “As we continue growing throughout Latin America, Mexico plays a major role in our expansion efforts as one of the region’s largest and most important economies.”
The 100-suite, newbuild Home2 Suites in Queretaro is scheduled to open in 2015, and it will be the brand’s first property in Latin America. The 102-room, newbuild Hilton Garden Inn hotel, located in Queretaro, marks the brand’s third hotel in Mexico and Hilton Worldwide’s 30th property in the country.
“As Queretaro is one of the fastest-growing cities in Mexico, we are delighted to expand our portfolio into this region of the globe,” said Adrian Kurre, global head, Hilton Garden Inn.
