Plenty to Celebrate at Waikoloa Beach Marriott

Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort and Spa is in the midst of what it calls its Celebration Series, providing guests with vacation offerings that are unique to Hawaii. Each activity is specially designed to showcase the three natural elements — sea, land and sky — that the Big Island offers like no other place in the world.

The 555-room oceanfront resort kicked off the series earlier this year with its successful Celebration of the Sea vacation package. Now, it’s rolling out the second package, called Celebration of the Land. Clients who book it will receive free tickets to the Kohala Wai PinzTrek land adventure as well as complimentary vehicle admission to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

Run by Hawaii Forest and Trail, the Kohala Wai PinzTrek outing takes clients to the remote and lush Pololu Valley aboard a rugged off-road six-wheel-drive vehicle. The group explores towering ocean cliffs and cascading waterfalls, goes on a leisurely hike and takes a dip in a cool mountain pool.

At Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, clients can experience a wealth of live volcano activity, rainforests, hiking trails and spectacular scenery. The Hawaiian volcano goddess Madame Pele continues her sizzling show as lava flows from Kilauea Volcano, creating new land and showcasing the birth of the Hawaiian Islands and how they were formed.

Starting at $199 per night for gardenview accommodations, the Celebration of the Land offer is available to guests who stay at the Kohala Coast resort for five consecutive nights from April 15- Aug. 15.

The third and last installment of the Waikoloa Beach Marriott’s series — called Celebration of the Sky — will run from Aug. 15-Dec. 16.
