The Luxurious Halii Kai at Waikoloa

Sep 01, 2008

HaliiKai Resort Suite // (c) 2008Feel the gentle caress of a tropical breeze. Slide into the silken embrace of fine linens. Bury your toes in warm Pacific sands. Dive into pure refreshment in the warm waters of the cascading pool fronted by the Pacific Ocean. There’s only one place to experience all of this and more, Castle Resorts & Hotels’ newest oceanfront luxury resort, Halii Kai at Waikoloa.

Located at the world-famous Waikoloa Resort on the Big Island of Hawaii, the brand new resort spreads across 29-acres, flowing along Waikoloa’s Beach Golf Course and stretching to the rich blue Pacific. Halii Kai offers guests a unique opportunity to relax and stretch out in well appointed luxury villas and revel in the spacious comfort, inviting privacy and stunning ocean views that surround them.  Unparalleled, personalized service is provided from the moment of their first inquiry, to arrival and check-in, and then throughout their stay. Vacationing at Halii Kai is to experience true Hawaiian hospitality at its best.

Units range from 2- and 3-Bedroom Villas to Town Homes accommodating Garden, Ocean and Oceanfront views.  All villas come with a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, complimentary high-speed Internet, large screen cable TV, fully equipped laundry room with full-size washer and dryer, fully-stocked bathrooms with complimentary Gilchrist & Soames toiletries, central air-conditioning, and spacious private lanai.

·         A dramatic lagoon-style pool with a beautiful cascading waterfall, offering privacy and relaxation. Kick back in one of the aqua loungers-lounge chairs partially submerged in the water to keep guests cool under the warm Hawaiian sun. For the little ones, a keiki wading pool offers a fun place to play. Then, at sunset, relax in the spa/hot tub.

·         Grab a workout with an oceanfront view, on top-of-the-line fitness equipment, at the Exercise Hale.

·         Enjoy casual dining at the Ocean Club Bar & Grill, which is reserved for Hali'i Kai guests. This fabulous ocean-front restaurant features only the freshest of locally-grown ingredients, including the highest quality seafood and meats delivered daily.

Dining at the Halii Kai Ocean Club Bar & Grill is a warm affair; and is exclusive to guests of the resort. The chef prepares menu items using fresh local ingredients such as famous Waimea produce and Big Island Beef, personally chef-grown herbs and vegetables, and fresh-caught seafood. These island-inspired lunches and pupus (appetizers) are served Monday through Saturday, 11:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. The ocean-front setting is priceless, but the food is more than affordable.

The Big Island of Hawaii has something for everyone with its snow-capped mountain peaks, black-sand beaches and sparkling waterfalls.  Being in the Waikoloa area provides a perfect vantage point with access to all the island has to offer.  While a sandy beach is only a short walk from Hali'i Kai, you may choose to explore other beaches on the Big Island. Hapuna Beach, often voted the best beach in the U.S, offers easy access to the water, full facilities, crystal clear water and beautiful scenery.  Don’t forget Volcanoes National Park, which is a popular destination for sightseers. The park is open 24 hours a day year-round, with the Kilauea Visitor Center and Jagger Museum open during typical business hours.

In the Waikoloa Beach Resort, of which Halii Kai is a part, there are two golf courses nearby, the Kings' Course and the Beach Course - both of which offer spectacular golf.  Nearby, the Kings' and Queens' Shops provide several dining and shopping options from casual to upscale; as well as a convenience store to pick up snacks and supplies for activities throughout your stay.

Castle Resorts & Hotels is offering special introductory rates starting from just $199/night for a one-bedroom /two-bathroom Garden View Villa; or upgrade to a two-bedroom/2-bathroom garden view villa for just $10 more a night.  Villas with an ocean view start from $239/night.  Valid for a limited time for stays through December 21, 2008.  Visit www.HaliiKaiResort.com or call toll-free 1-800-367-5004 for more info and to secure reservations today.
