Expecting a baby is an important time in life. It can also be an ideal time to plan a relaxing getaway — and a number of Caribbean hotels are ready to meet the needs of expectant couples with enticing settings and curated experiences.

The concept of the babymoon — a prenatal vacation for parents-to-be — can mean different things to different people. In the Caribbean, much of the focus is on providing a peaceful setting for relaxation, with lots of opportunities for quality time together as a couple.

Resorts that go beyond that, by providing specialized spa treatments and curated experiences for pregnant women, are especially well-equipped to help advisors create a memorable trip.

Here are several standout Caribbean properties that offer an attractive mix of luxury, wellness and activities for parents-to-be.

Among the hotels in Aruba catering to an audience of expectant vacationers is Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort, which offers a Babymoon Package with amenities such as a maternity bathrobe, in-room breakfast on the first morning and a sunset photoshoot on Eagle Beach. The package is available for stays through Sept. 30, 2025.

At nearby Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, the Mandara Spa’s 60-minute Peaceful Pregnancy Massage is another health-minded option, and the property’s beachfront cabanas and adults-only pool provide still more settings for couples to relax.

The Bahamas

Multiple properties at Nassau’s sprawling Baha Mar resort complex offer services that can easily appeal to the babymoon set. SLS Baha Mar, for example, recently unveiled the Milestone Moon, Suite Escape package that includes a 30% discount on renovated suite accommodations, a $500 resort credit and access to the Baha Bay waterpark. The deal is available through Aug. 30, 2025.

The neighboring Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, meanwhile, offers a Celebrations Package that includes a $200 resort credit that can be used on everything from celebrity-chef dining and flamingo meet-and-greets to prenatal treatments at hotel spa Espa.

Curacao

Diverse offerings in Curacao can satisfy a variety of traveler types within the babymoon segment. Sandals Royal Curacao is an all-inclusive standout with its Babymoon Package that includes in-room amenities such as a maternity pillow, one breakfast in bed for two, meal-planning services, a private candlelit dinner and a photoshoot with 10 digital images.

Other properties in Curacao are also adept at providing tranquil settings for rejuvenation, including Zoetry Curacao Resort & Spa and Avila Beach Hotel, both of which offer couples massages at on-site spa facilities.

The Dominican Republic

Located on the coast of Samana, Cayo Levantado Resort offers an extensive array of wellness-focused activities for expectant couples that go far beyond the typical spa menu. Its holistic Yubarta wellness center features not only prenatal yoga and womb-healing ceremonies, but also relationship-focused experiences such as chakra meditations and cacao rituals. Women can also sign up to learn about the symptothermal method, which aims to help manage fertility and hormonal health through natural techniques.

Puerto Rico

Hotels with babymoon-specific services in Puerto Rico include La Concha Resort, which offers a Mama to Be spa treatment that includes an application of Unzented Concreta balm to the belly and hips, which can help reduce stretch marks and alleviate itching.

Just steps away, Condado Vanderbilt offers a Maternal Serenity Massage that aims to soothe pregnancy-related discomfort; it’s available for expectant mothers in their second trimester and up to week 35 of pregnancy. In the Isla Verde neighborhood, Fairmont El San Juan Hotel’s Well & Being Spa offers a prenatal massage that makes use of a special pillow system designed for the comfort of expectant mothers.

St. Lucia

The small Caribbean hotspot of St. Lucia is yet another rewarding place for babymooners with wellness in mind. Guests at the upscale BodyHoliday Saint Lucia receive one included treatment daily at the property’s wellness center; options include a Nurturing Mother-to-be Massage. The hotel’s nutrition specialists can also help couples devise a healthy culinary approach during pregnancy.

The adults-only, all-inclusive StolenTime is another noteworthy option in St. Lucia; its offerings include prenatal massage treatments, yoga, meditation and massage lessons for couples.

In Providenciales, South Bank — a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World that opened last year — offers a Mother to Be massage as well as couples’ spa experiences. Also in Providenciales, Amanyara, an Aman resort, provides spa services that can be tailored for mothers-to-be.

Other Island Babymoon Experiences

Those looking for luxury and privacy may want to consider booking a stay at Hotel Christopher St. Barth, where the waterfront Sisley Spa offers a relaxing Future Mother Massage tailored for women after the first three months of pregnancy. And in Bermuda, Hamilton Princess Bermuda offers a Bermuda Babymoon package that includes welcome mocktails, a maternity pillow in the guestroom and a spa credit for a 60-minute treatment for two.
