The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach has completed a multi-phase, multimillion-dollar renovation project after nine years of operation since its 2016 opening. The property has refreshed accommodations across its 'Ewa Tower guestrooms, upgraded its front desk area and two infinity pools, introduced three signature suites as part of The Ritz-Carlton Suite Collection and debuted a new dining concept.

The 552-room property has implemented a design concept that reflects Oahu's natural elements across three floor categories. The Deluxe Level spans floors 9-22 with blue and natural tones representing the alaeli wind and Waikiki’s shores. The Grand Level occupies floors 23-32, with wood accents and forest-green colors reflecting Manoa Valley's bamboo and foliage. The Premier Level covers floors 33-36 with blue, white and gray tones representing the sky, clouds and rainbows above the Koolau Mountain range. Local Oahu artists have contributed curated artwork throughout all three floor categories.

"For nearly a decade, we have taken great pride in upholding the highest standards of excellence for our property, from the personalized service of our ladies and gentlemen to the continual refinement of our hotel offerings. These new enhancements reflect our unwavering commitment to providing an unrivaled luxury experience and a profound sense of place in Waikiki."

The hotel has launched a new dining venue called Solera, which serves Hawaii regional cuisine prepared with locally sourced ingredients. The property has also introduced cultural programming including a welcome drink of a signature hibiscus tea blend created by Oahu-born tea educator Kathy YL Chan. The tea combines hibiscus with chrysanthemum and local honey from the Manoa Valley. An evening program called "My Story of Oahu" features a local Hawaiian language student sharing personal connections to Oahu through traditional Hawaiian chants at sunset.
