Broadway Circus Comes to Cancun

Palace Resorts has announced a partnership with Cirque Dreams to offer a limited engagement of the critically-acclaimed Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy this summer at the Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort. From June 29 through Aug. 5, Palace Resorts will boost the all-inclusive vacation experience by offering guests complimentary tickets to what New York Magazine calls “the grandest circus spectacle east of Vegas.”

Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy debuted at the Broadway Theatre in 2008. Since its opening, the production has been earning favorable reviews. Created and directed by circus impresario Neil Goldberg, Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy is an exotic performance featuring an international cast of aerialists, contortionists, acrobats, jugglers and musicians. The performance is enhanced by spectacular costumes nominated for an American Theatre Wing Best Costume Design Award. The journey comes to life in a jungle setting filled with flowers, magical trees and a variety of special effects. Highlights include the Butterfly Ballet, Flipping Monkeys, Hopping Frogs and Stretching Lizards. The show is presented under a giant, air-conditioned tent set up exclusively for the presentation of Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy.

Palace Resorts guests who book at Moon Palace for five nights receive two complimentary tickets to the performance, while those who book seven nights or more in an Oceanview room category or above will receive up to three tickets. All other Palace Resorts guests staying at the nearby Beach Palace, Sun Palace, Playacar Palace and Le Blanc will be able to purchase tickets and also receive priority transportation to and from Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort, as well as priority access to their seats. To make sure no one misses their chance to watch a live Cirque Dreams performance, Palace Resorts is offering nine weekly shows. Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy will offer two nightly shows Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and one show on Sundays at an introductory rate beginning at $25.

Throughout the summer, “Connection Zone” will offer Cirque Dreams-themed activities as part of their regular programming, to offer kids an immersive Cirque Dreams experience exclusively at Moon Palace.
