Grand Velas Los Cabos Debuts Artisan Amenity

This summer, guests of the new Grand Velas Los Cabos resort will receive a handcrafted Mexican Olinala box to take home at the end of their stay. The boxes are made by artisans in Olinala, located in the region of Sierra Madre del Sur (the main producer of lacquerware in Mexico). The colorful, complimentary amenities are the result of a 29-step process that involves carving, painting and the application of lacquer. Each box will be filled with Mexican sweets and decorated with a one-of-a-kind theme or motif, such as flowers, foliage, landscapes or animals.

Rates for Grand Velas Los Cabos start at $615 per person, per night and include luxury suite accommodations, a la carte gourmet meals at specialty restaurants, premium branded beverages, 24-hour in-suite service, a fitness center, nightly entertainment and more.
