Guests staying at AMResorts’ Breathless Cabo San Lucas Resort can have a unique sensory experience during a new dining option from the all-inclusive resort. The property’s new “senses” beachfront dinner, which takes place each Wednesday from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., includes a six-course oceanfront meal and mixologist-crafted cocktails.
The catch? Clients will have to fully rely on their senses of touch, smell, taste and hearing, because they will be blindfolded for the entirety of the meal. The dinner is $120 per person, and reservations are required. Groups must range between four and 12 people.
Travel agents who book this experience for clients and who are members of the brand’s AMRewards program can also benefit by redeeming points earned from bookings with a stay at one of the brand’s 52 properties. A new enhancement to the rewards program allows advisors to check a property’s availability in real time, and they will no longer need a certificate for the stay at check-in. More than 29,000 travel agents are currently registered.
“Since we launched AM-Rewards three years ago, every enhancement has been developed based on our travel agent community and advisory board’s valuable feedback,” said Jan LaPointe, AMRewards’ vice president of strategic planning retail sales for North America and sales and marketing for Canada. “This booking engine gives agents the power to book all on their own, using an online platform available 24/7.”
