More than 30 world-renowned international chefs are set to appear at this year’s 21st annual International Gourmet Festival in Puerto Vallarta. The event will take place from Nov. 16 to 22 and feature a la carte gourmet dining, chef demonstration tables and wine tastings.
The opening event will take place at La Leche, while the closing ceremony will be held at Sapphire Beach Club. Restaurants participating in the festival include Emiliano, La Palapa, The River Cafe and Vista Grill, along with Velas Vallarta’s Andre, Hilton Puerto Vallarta Resort’s Le Delice and La Corona at Villa Premiere Hotel & Spa.
Since its inception in 1995, the festival has welcomed some 400,000 attendees and more than 500 international chefs. Participants from Riviera Nayarit and Tepic will also be included in the program.
“The International Gourmet Festival is an event that has continued to grow each year as more and more international chefs want to participate,” said Thierry Blouet, the festival’s founding chef. “This year’s guest chefs have between 14 and 17 Gault Millau points and have worked at restaurants with at least three Michelin stars.”
