On Feb. 11, daytime talk-show host Martha Stewart and Sandals Resorts president, Kevin Froemming, along with the editorial director of Martha Stewart Weddings magazine, announced the three winning couples in the Sandals Wedding by Martha Stewart contest.
Grand-prize winners, Elizabeth Wilks and Colin Van Dervort of Metairie, La., were awarded a customized Sandals Wedding by Martha Stewart destination dream wedding at the new Sandals Emerald Bay, Great Exuma, Bahamas, which opened on Feb. 4. The celebration will be designed expressly for the couple by Martha Stewart’s team, and the prize package also includes a six-day, five-night all-inclusive vacation for the bride and groom at Sandals Emerald Bay; a four-day, three-night all-inclusive stay for 10 guests at Sandals Emerald Bay; and roundtrip airfare for the bride and groom, as well as their 10 guests. The wedding will be filmed and featured on “The Martha Stewart Show,” and it will also be featured in an upcoming issue of Martha Stewart Weddings.
Second-place winners, Stephanie Allen and Kyle Niemis, won a five-day, four-night getaway to Sandals Grand St. Lucian Spa & Beach Resort, and third-place winners, Jennifer Lomax and Lionel Garrett, received a four-day, three-night all-inclusive stay at Sandals Whitehouse European Village and Spa in Jamaica.
