West Coast clients will find it easier to get to the Caribbean thanks to American Airlines’ new nonstop service from Dallas-Fort Worth to Barbados beginning Dec. 16. Flights from Dallas-Fort Worth to Barbados operate every Monday, Thursday and Saturday with return flights every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
The flights will be operated with Boeing 757 aircraft, and introductory rates start at $149 each way, based on roundtrip travel.
In support of the new service offered by American Airlines, wholesaler Travel Impressions is offering a $150 resort credit per guestroom on reservations that are between three and five nights and a $250 resort credit per guestroom on reservations that are a minimum of six nights at participating Barbados hotels.
Participating hotels include Amaryllis Beach Hotel; Almond Beach Village; Almond Beach Club; Almond Casuarina Beach; Bougainville Beach Resort; The Crane; Mango Bay and Treasure Beach.
Reservations with Travel Impressions must include airfare and be made by Nov. 30 for travel from Jan. 2 to April 30, 2011. Agents can earn an extra 1 percent bonus commission when booking travel packages online.
