L'Auberge de Sedona, in Sedona, Ariz., will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a $25 million dollar resort expansion called Project Elevation. The project, which is to be completed in the late summer, 1,200-square-foot, one-bedroom cottages to the property. The resort will remain open during the expansion.
"The project will introduce guests to a collection of ultra-luxurious and contemporary hillside cottages, every one offering unparalleled views of Sedona's famous Red Rocks," said Joe Mottershead, general manager.
Each cottage will be equipped with indoor and outdoor living spaces, a large observation deck, discreet outdoor showers, gas fireplaces and more.
The resort also plans to create a “spa village,” with a newly constructed spa and spa cottages, as well. Existing creekside and garden cottages will also be redesigned and upgraded during the expansion.
Other additions to the resort include the Wanderlust Library and Lounge, where guests can relax with refreshments while perusing art and travel-related books. And the L’Auberge Restaurant will be redesigned to offer all patrons unobstructed views of Oak Creek.
