The National Association of Career Travel Agents (NACTA) is welcoming its newest chapter in California’s San Diego area.
“We hope that this new chapter will bring San Diego agents together for the purpose of sharing knowledge and supporting each other in the community,” said Beth Taylor, chapter director for the San Diego area. Taylor is also an independent contractor with Travel Counsellors and is the owner of home-based agency Taylor Made Travel.
“There has never been a chapter here and I'm thrilled to be developing a new chapter in this area,” she said. “Our focus will be on networking opportunities and educational lectures for members of NACTA as well as potential members.”
The organization is designed to provide valuable resources for the travel agent community and its newly designed Web site contains information on Webinars, seminars at sea, supplier partnerships and the new NACTA Masterminds program.
The new chapter will hold its first meeting on May 13 in a dinner hosted by Holland America Line.
